Prince Takamado Trophy All Japan Inter-Middle School English Oratorical Contest

Hi! I can't sleep...

Next weekend, Prince Takamado Trophy All Japan Inter-Middle School English Oratorical Contest will be held in Tokyo! It is the speech contest for junior high school students. The contest is the most extensive in Japan. The preliminary winners from each prefecture paticipate the contest and compete their speech. The theme of the speech is free. I was one of the participants of the contest. I won qualifying and participate it four years ago. I couldn't win a prize, but I could make a valuable experience. This competition triggered my interest in English. And I could make friends all over Japan!! During the contest, all participants stay at the same hotel, so we could make friends easily. Our classmate Rena also participate the contest and we had same room:) I'm still in touch of them and they are all my best friends!!

Next time I'd like to put my speech on my blog. I found it in my USB. Four years have passed since I wrote it...The time goes by soooo quickly!
