long-sleeved kimono

Good evening!

This summer, when I went back to my hometown, I decided my long-sleeved kimono(Furisode in Japanese) . Next year, I will be 20 years old, so I attend the coming-of-age celebration wearing the long-sleeved kimono.

My favorite color is pink, so I chose pink kimono. It's sooooooooooooo cute isn't it :) I especially like that design. The kimono is studded with heart and butterfly pattern. Though it might makes me look much younger, I love it!! I'm looking forward to wearing this Kimono next January ;)

Actually, it isn't the fist time for me to wear kimono. I've once worn it in a high school graduation celemony. In my high school, female students don't have uniform, so we can wear anything we like. So, most of the female students in our high school wear kimono, especially hakama, in a graduation celemony. I have some pictures of my graduation celemony.

The gradetion of the kimono was so beautiful that I decided to wear it in the ceremony with no hesistation.
