Japan Cup Championship

Japan Cup Karate Championship was held last weekend, December 11th and 12th, in Nippon Budoukan. I got a ticket by my club member, though I couldn't go to see it because of a part-time job. The senior of my high school karate club, he's now Waseda university student and belongs karate club(not my circle),  also participated the championship, so I really wanted to go!

Ryutaro Araga is one of the athletes whom I'm focussing on.

Last year's championship, he won the first place!! (Though he won the third place in this year's championship...:'( )

He is now a sophomore in college, so he is 20 years old. He is almost same as our age. When he was a high school student, he won Inter-high school competition for three consecutive years!!

He is called "Genius" because of his achievemants.




The championship will be broadcasted by NHK on the noon of December 18th. If you have time, please check it;) I want to watch it, but I must go to part-time job today... Today, I'll work at an electric appliance shop in Sagamihara. The work will be hard, but I'll do my best!!
